Picket In Support Of Charter'97 Held Near European Commission Office In Brussels

The activists demanded from the European Commission and the European Council to react to the blocking of the independent website in Belarus with sanctions.

A picket against blocking of the independent website Charter97.org by the Belarusian authorities was held in Brussels, in front of the office of the European Commission and the European Council, Radio Liberty reports.

The activists held posters saying "We Are Charter'97", "Stop Censorship", "Sanctions".

"We demand actions from the European politicians, they should react to the blocking of Charter'97," - one of the participants of the picket, civil activist Dzianis Kazakevich told.
