Donald Trump and Kamala Harris tied at the first polling station in the US that closed. It is located in New Hampshire, in the town of Dixville Notch.
The polling station here opens at midnight on election day, eight hours before most polling stations in the country open. Only six people voted there, four of whom registered as Republican voters, and two did not declare their party preferences.
The vote count showed that both candidates received three votes each, CNN reports.
The town votes earlier than anyone else in the US. This tradition has been going on since the sixties of the last century. At the same time, history shows that the voting results there do not always correlate with the results across the country and even the state. However, the town consistently attracts the attention of reporters.
