Balloons From Belarus Arrived In Poland

A cargo was attached to them.

In the Podlaskie Voivodeship of Poland, which borders Belarus, two balloons were found. They had packages of contraband cigarettes attached to them, RMF24. reports.

On Friday morning, November 8, a resident of Kolno, a small town northwest of Bialystok, called emergency services. The man reported that he saw a balloon with a package attached to it.

The resident of the city removed the package and brought the find to the local police station himself. After checking, it turned out that the cargo was contraband cigarettes.

A similar balloon, as RMF24 reports, was found that same morning near Szaciłówki, a small village north of Bialystok. What was inside it was not specified, but it is assumed that there were also cigarettes.
