The tanker had about 4,300 tons of fuel oil on board. There were 13 people on board. A rescue ship was sent to it.
Later, Telegram channels reported that in addition to the Volgoneft 212, the Volgoneft 239 vessel was in distress in the Kerch Strait. There were 14 people on board.
