An explosion was heard on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow in the morning. It is known about two dead.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred at 06:11 in the morning. According to preliminary information, a few hours before the incident, an unknown person parked a scooter at the entrance of the house, to the handle of which, apparently, an improvised explosive device (IED) was taped.
The explosion killed two people, namely, Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defence forces of the Russian Armed Forces, is believed to have been killed; another victim is believed to be his aide.
According to Telegram channels, as a result of the explosion in the house, the entrance door was torn out and the windows were broken. In addition, the service car of the General was damaged.
The detonation itself could have been done remotely. Presumably, the bomber or his accomplice could not even be in the line of sight, but could have gained access to the entryway camera, which many residents of the housing estate have.

The Russian Telegram channel of Mash writes that the second person killed in the explosion in Moscow turned out to be the driver of the lieutenant general. He allegedly came to pick up the chief at around 6am to take him to work.
At the moment, the area around the house on Ryazansky Avenue is being examined by sappers. The scooter, to which the IED was tentatively attached, will be taken away for examination.
