DPRK Soldiers Kill Themselves To Avoid Being Captured By Ukrainian Troops

Significant losses and suicides have been recorded among the DPRK soldiers fighting on the side of Russia against Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrainian serviceman Kirylo Sazonov.

“The soldiers are killing themselves rather than surrendering to Ukrainian troops, probably because of fear of reprisals against their families in North Korea if they are captured,” the soldier noted.

He also recalled that, according to the White House, in the last week alone, North Korea lost 1,000 soldiers killed and wounded in the war unleashed by the Russian Federation.
