The dictator's time is running out.

Recently, US President Joe Biden signed a historic law providing $61 billion in military assistance to Ukraine. The Pentagon said that the weapons will arrive in Ukraine in the coming days.

How will this change the situation on the fronts in Ukraine?

For comment, the Charter97.org website turned to reserve major of the National Guard of Ukraine, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Oleksiy Hetman:

— I will refer to the Head Commander-in-Chief and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. He said that after we start receiving a large number of weapons, we will turn Putin’s plans for Ukraine against him.

This fighting spirit among our military and political leadership is inspiring. People at the level of commanders and presidents don’t say anything just for the sake of saying. This means that we will have a serious amount of weapons, and not only from the United States.

By the way, Great Britain will transfer a large package of military assistance to Ukraine. We are talking about 500 million pounds sterling. I would like to emphasize that Britain supplies us with military aid worth about 3 billion pounds sterling every year, which is stated in the country’s budget.

— Will the position of the United States and Britain influence Germany’s decision to supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine?

— Let's leave our friends from Germany with Taurus missiles alone. We have other missiles and capabilities. I think that soon Ukraine will have its own missiles that can fly at such a range. We are modernizing Neptune.

It is important to remember that in the list of European countries that help Ukraine, Germany ranks first.

— It became known that the United States secretly supplied more than 100 long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine back in March, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces used them at least twice. What are these missiles capable of and can they speed up the liberation of Crimea?

— No, weapons in the amount of 100 missiles cannot change the course of the war. The Russians have fired more than a hundred missiles into Ukraine more than once. Did this change anything? 1,000 missiles would change the course of the war, but not 100.

500 F-16s would end the war, but 50 would not. Let us remember Operation Desert Storm, when coalition forces led by the United States pushed Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait. So, about three thousand Abrams tanks and about the same number of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles were involved in the battle there. This decided the outcome of the war, but 31 tanks would not decide.

— Lukashenka has recently repeatedly made panicky statements about the “liberation of Belarus by NATO troops”, the creation of a “Belarusian liberation army” based on the Kalinouski regiment and other volunteer formations. And he even named a “bridgehead” — the Kobryn district close to Ukraine. Why did the dictator panic?

— I would like to ask Lukashenka a simple question: why would NATO countries attack Belarus? For what?

For the Russian Federation, expansion of territory is an important principle of existence. Putin needs an external enemy and war so that he can somehow justify the standard of living and the lawlessness of power within the country. European countries have enough of everything.

Lukashenka is trying to raise the temperature in Belarus. Obviously, he was scared, because 16 thousand British troops arrived in Poland. And they arrived with their own equipment.

But it’s too late for Lukashenka to panic. He will answer in the same way before the International Criminal Court as Putin. He won't be able to escape, his time is up.
