AFU Smash Runway, Aircraft Parking At Belbek Airbase In Crimea

On the night of May 15, the AFU launched a series of targeted strikes on the territory of the Belbek military airfield near occupied Sevastopol.

The "Crimean Wind" public page writes that the main strikes occurred between 1:55 and 1:56. Locals report about 10 explosions in the area of the airfield.

The source writes that 15 minutes after the series of strikes the explosions began to become smaller. It is not excluded that it was the detonation of ammunition, the Crimean Wind reports.

Residents of Sevastopol posted a number of photos and videos from the area of the airfield. Also after 2:00 the second wave of the attack began.

This time the residents of Yevpatoria and Bakhchisaray district reported about explosions.

The Russian Defence Ministry reported about the "interception" of 10 ATACMS-type missiles by air defence systems. At the same time, the Crimean Wind monitoring group posted satellite images taken after 2:00.

They show three hotbeds of fire in the area of the Belbek aerodrome. We are talking about the runway and aircraft parking.

Already around 4:00 new photos of the aerodrome area were taken. The fire became even stronger, bigger and covered new territories.
