In Russia, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan replaced banners with a line from a song about repression and emigration after they drew the attention of the media and passers-by. The local publication 116.ru writes about this.
At the end of June, an ad banner appeared in Kazan with a line from the song by the Belarusian artist AP$ENT “Can I Go With You?” and a QR code leading to the telegram channel of the Republican Youth Ministry.
A song about forced migration, recorded in 2022, went viral on TikTok this spring. In particular, touching videos with homeless animals were posted under it. They got millions of views.
