This was reported by Ukrainian military correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko. According to him, the war criminal Ulantsov, born in 2003, was a serviceman of the 40th separate marine brigade of the Russian Armed Forces (military unit 10103).

“The 21-year-old killer signed a contract less than a month ago. The commanders first promised that he would be a medic, and then abandoned him on the battlefield. He said that it is the commanders who give orders to execute prisoners of war,” Tsaplienko notes.

The journalist noted that Ulantsov confirmed the fact that the executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war are a deliberate Russian policy, and not isolated cases.

“They just threw me there as “meat”. When we reported that we had wounded soldiers, the “two-hundredths”, they said: “Sit still and don’t stick your head out. Reinforcements will come to you, you will be evacuated”. There was no such reinforcement... I saw two Ukrainian servicemen. He (another occupier — edit.) shouted at them: “Drop your weapons”. They dropped them. I contacted the commander and reported that there were two Ukrainian servicemen (in captivity — edit.). The commander didn’t understand my words in this chaos at first, and then ordered: “Open fire”, the occupier shared.
