Famous Polish Actress Barbara Rylska Passes Away

Famous Polish theatre and film actress Barbara Rylska died at the age of 89, the Polish Union of Film Actors reported.

The actress passed away on January 11, shortly before her 90th birthday. The cause of her death is not specified.

Rylska, who was called the Polish Marlene Dietrich, starred in such films as ‘The Tenants’, ‘Adam and Eve’, ‘Those Who Are Seeking’, ‘The Mansion on the Green’, ‘Restless Niece’.

A number of media, meanwhile, confused Rylska with another Polish actress Barbara Brylska, who is known for her role in the film ‘The Irony of Fate’

Barbara Brylska turned 83 last summer and she is still alive.
