Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, Missile Forces, Air Force, as well as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the SBU were involved in the combat mission.

In addition, the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) and SBU (Securiti Service of Ukraine) units struck strategic facilities of the Russian defence industry, the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez plant. Fires broke out at both facilities.
