Belarusian Volunteers Awarded Orders, Medals In Ukraine

The awards were given to ten fighters of the ‘Tur’ unit of the AFU assault battalion.

Ten fighters of the Belarusian ‘Tur’ unit of the AFU assault battalion have been awarded state decorations of Ukraine. This is reported by the official Telegram channel of the unit.

The Belarusians were awarded the Order ‘For Courage’, medals ‘Golden Cross’ and ‘For Service and Valour’ for successful operations on evacuating armoured vehicles from the battlefield.

- The evacuation of vehicles from the battlefield is one of the most difficult tasks at the front. Damaged or immobile armoured vehicles, whether BMPs or tanks, instantly become a desirable target for the enemy. The enemy has every chance to calculate the evacuation team and strike from drones or artillery. That's why every evacuation mission is a risk that requires flawless execution.

The awards received by the fighters speak for themselves. This is proof of the effectiveness of the unit's work, as well as their readiness to act in the most difficult conditions, the report said.
