Belarusian Journalist: There Is Much Evidence That ‘Polling Stations’ Were Empty

The turnout failed.

Radio Liberty Belarusian Service journalist Valer Kalinouski told the Ukrainian TV channel Espresso that the turnout that Lukashenka drew at the “elections” has nothing to do with reality:

— There is much evidence that the polling stations were empty. Even when Lukashenka came to vote, he was first or second on the list when receiving the ballot.

It is difficult to believe all these figures regarding the turnout at the “elections”, observers and human rights activists question all of this.

There were many previous campaigns that I was able to cover directly. This time, there was no desire among people to vote, because there is no intrigue, why go there. Therefore, the high turnout figures are not reliable.
