Vance Issues Ultimatum On Peace Talks In Ukraine

The US will refuse to mediate if Trump's "final offer" is rejected.

US Vice President J.D. Vance said that the US will refuse to mediate in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine if the US offer is rejected.

"We will refuse to mediate between Russia and Ukraine if we do not receive a positive response.We have made a clear and fair offer to both the Russians and the Ukrainians," he noted.

The US is expecting Ukraine to respond to the "final offer" of US President Donald Trump, which includes freezing the front line, security guarantees for Ukraine, US "recognition" of the Crimea as allegedly part of the Russian Federation, and the lifting of sanctions against the aggressor.
