‘There Will Be No One To Hold The Parade On Red Square’

A military expert advised the Armed Forces of Ukraine where it would be better to strike.

The most optimal option for the Ukrainian Defense Forces would be to strike at those bases where Russian military personnel and equipment will be training for the parade until May 9. However, it is also possible to strike Red Square during the parade.

This was stated by pilot-instructor, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan on the air of Radio NV.

"The optimal option, of course, is not to strike Red Square on May 9, but to destroy Russian equipment, Russian military personnel who will be training (before the parade). They have several bases for training. A few days before May 9, training for this parade is underway. Only the military is clearly working there, so this is a purely legal military target. It can be struck by various mechanisms, from our confidants to long-range weapons, which we definitely have," the expert said.

According to him, such strikes on training bases can be carried out, say, on May 7 or 8, since the training will be held almost daily or every other day.

In addition, as Svitan noted, the places of these trainings are very well known to Muscovites, participants in the process, and even more so to Ukrainian intelligence.

"Therefore, it is optimal to strike there. But Red Square, especially with troops passing through it on parade, and this includes equipment and military personnel (especially after the Russians recognized the strike on Sumy as a strike on a civilian facility that the military used for their own purposes) - here God himself ordered to strike Red Square on May 9. That is, no one will tie our hands in this sense, the Russians themselves untied them. Therefore, let them be afraid. It is possible to strike. In what sequence and in what places, I described. This can be done earlier, so that there is no one to conduct the parade itself," he explained.
