Bessent: Zelensky Now Has 'royal Flush' In Talks With Russian Federation

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has updated President Donald Trump's phrase stating that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has "no cards" in negotiations with the Russians. On air on Fox Business, he opined that the Ukrainian president now has a "royal flush" after the signed mineral agreement.

"You know, like President Trump said in the Oval Office to Zelensky, 'You don't have any trumps.' Well, guess what? President Trump has now dealt him a royal flush," Bessent said.

He said these cards can now be shown to the Kremlin. He emphasized that they show that there is no disagreement in the goals of the people of Ukraine and the United States.

The royal flush is the highest combination in poker. It consists of five high cards of the same suit: ace, king, queen, queen, jack and ten.
