Ukrainian Special Forces Destroy Russian Uragan And BUK-M3 For $45 Million

A video of the precision attack has surfaced.

The AFU Special Operations Forces have destroyed a Russian BUK-M3 surface-to-air missile system, which was covering enemy troops on land.

The Telegram channel of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces reports this.

According to the military, the Uragan-1 MLRS was also destroyed.

"The BUK-M3 is one of the enemy's key air defense weapons, which it uses to hit targets in the air, on land and on water," the video is captioned.

It is noted that during a special reconnaissance in one of the operational areas, SDF operators discovered a BUK-M3 on alert and Uragan-1 MLRS. After a quick preparation, the warriors launched attack drones and accurately hit the targets.

It is worth recalling that the "Buk-M3" complex with an estimated cost of 45 million dollars was destroyed completely along with its ammunition.

"Buk-M3" is a Russian medium-range anti-aircraft missile system, which is a further development of the "Buk-M2" system. It was adopted by the Russian Armed Forces in 2016.

The complex is designed to defeat airplanes, helicopters, cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as drones in conditions of active electronic countermeasures.
