Belarusians Bought More Than 3000 Apartments In Poland Last Year

In 2024, Belarusians bought more than 3,000 apartments in Poland - one and a half times more than a year earlier. This is the second place among foreigners. Only Ukrainians are ahead of our compatriots - they bought 8.8 thousand apartments, reports "Euroradio".
In total, in 2024, foreigners bought 17,330 apartments in Poland, or 21% more than in 2023, reports the tg-channel "Belarusians in Poland," referring to the Ministry of Interior and Administration. In addition to Ukrainians and Belarusians, citizens of Russia (368), India (221), China (161), Turkey (153), Vietnam (107) bought apartments.
The most frequent foreigners bought apartments in Warsaw (3,535). Krakow (1523) and Wrocław (1491) are also in the top three. Far behind them are Lodz (827), Poznan (540), Gdansk (325), Gorzów Wielkopolski (204) and Szczecin (158).
Some foreigners when buying an apartment used the Polish program "Safe Credit 2%", launched in 2023. It was used by 2,215 Ukrainians and 492 Belarusians.
In 2024, with the permission of the Interior Ministry of Poland, citizens of Belarus made 303 transactions with land plots with a total area of 11.7 hectares (an average of 400 square meters per plot). Belarusians also received 168 permits to purchase real estate in the border zone.
