European security will be ensured by the "triumvirate".
Germany's new chancellor Friedrich Merz has said he wants to create the strongest army in Europe. How realistic is this ambitious plan to fulfill?
About this, Charter97.org talked to Roman Svitan, a colonel of the AFU in reserve, military expert and flight instructor,
- To put it simply, any army is money. If there is money, there will be an army. If there is no money, there will be no army.
Germany is the largest country in Europe economically. Therefore, Merz's plan is real.
- Germany is becoming the motor of rearmament in Europe. Which countries can actively support it? Who will be at the forefront of these processes?"
- I believe that Germany is not the motor, now the motor is France. In his time Charles de Gaulle did not switch to American technologies and left his own.
The French are now, one could say, apologists for advanced technologies, especially those tested in military affairs. The Germans, on the other hand, are lagging behind in various areas.
Some things they have, of course, are technological, but not on a mass scale. That is, they need to get in contact with the British.
A part of American technology will come through Britain, the main part is French, and the economy is German. These three pillars of European security are the basis of Germany's economic power.
Without money you can't create anything, but with money you can get technology. This triumvirate will enable Germany to fulfill the task of rebuilding its army.
