ISW: DPRK Soldiers Disappeared From The Battlefield

North Koreans are no longer being thrown into assaults.

The AFU recently advanced on the southern outskirts of Tetkinoe, a border village in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the American Institute for the Study of War ISW in its latest report.

The researchers refer to geolocation videos published on May 19. The footage is dated the same date, indicating that Russian troops had recently advanced toward an international border checkpoint southeast of Tetkino.

At the same time, Russian military bloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops had unsuccessfully attacked in the Kursk region in the direction of Tetkino and Novy Put.

At the same time, Ukrainian military observer Konstantin Mashovets said that North Korean troops no longer carry out offensives in the Kursk direction, and the Russians only "sporadically" deploy them on Russian territory.

The AFU General Staff said in its evening bulletin that the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed ten enemy attacks in the Kursk direction. Here the enemy also carried out 11 air strikes, using 26 guided bombs, and 202 artillery attacks, including seven from multiple rocket launchers.
