Majority Of Americans Want Continued Military Support For Ukraine

Survey.

An overwhelming majority of Americans, with both Democratic voters and Republican supporters, believe that the Donald Trump administration should continue military support for Ukraine.

These are the results of a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll.

62% of voters believe the Trump administration should continue to provide weapons to Ukraine and impose sanctions against Russia.

Some 71% of Democratic supporters hold this view; among Republicans, 59%.

In addition, 64% of Americans believe Ukraine should receive direct security guarantees from the United States if it makes concessions to end the war with Russia. This is the view held by a majority of voters of all parties.
