A Second Region Of Russia Has Cut Off Mobile Internet

Because of the drone attack.

In the Tula region against the background of ongoing attacks by Ukrainian drones, a decision has been made to temporarily shut down mobile Internet, Governor Dmitry Milyaev said. The fixed Internet is operating in normal mode.

Milyaev noted that it is not the first time residents of the region have faced restrictions on mobile Internet, and urged to treat such measures with understanding, as they are taken in the interests of security. "The decision to temporarily disable mobile internet is taken for the sake of safety of all residents. Enemy air attacks do not stop. In the past 24 hours alone, air defense forces shot down more than 80 drones in different regions of the country," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The same restrictions were earlier imposed in the Lipetsk region.

This night and early morning Russian regions were subjected to a large-scale drone attack. The central regions of the Russian Federation - Orel, Ryazan, Kursk, Belgorod and Lipetsk regions - were attacked first of all. The capital region was also attacked.
