Sikorski: Anarchy In The Baltic Sea Must End

Poland is preparing measures to prevent Russian provocations.

Anarchy in the Baltic Sea must end," the Polish Foreign Minister commented on another incident in the Baltic Sea involving ships of the so-called Russian shadow fleet, Polskie Radio reports.

Today it became known that one of such vessels was conducting suspicious maneuvers near a power cab Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski noted that such cases have become more frequent.

"The Baltic Sea is currently the most dangerous sea in the world. Even if we assume that the cases of cable breaks were accidental, there are still too many such accidents. And repairing their consequences will be very expensive. And those responsible - the captains, the shipowners and the countries whose flags these ships fly - must be held accountable. This must be dealt with," - emphasized the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry.

We recall that in July Poland will preside over the Council of the Baltic Sea States. Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that he would propose ways to settle incidents in its waters.
