In San Diego, A Business Jet Crashed Into A Residential Neighborhood

A business jet has crashed in a residential neighborhood in San Diego, California, after which several homes and cars there caught fire. CNN reports that several neighborhoods have been evacuated, with "jet fuel everywhere" at the crash site. A search for the pilot is underway, and there is no word yet on casualties or injuries.

Local authorities are working to get everyone out of the neighborhood and will go around homes to see if anyone is inside, said San Diego Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief for Emergency Management Dan Eddy. The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement that the exact number of passengers on board was not yet known, NBC News reported.
