The vessel "at full speed" ran aground.
In Norway, 135-meter container ship NCL Salten ran aground, crashing into the yard of a private house. About it reports BBC.
The incident occurred on May 22 at about 05:00 local time. The ship was just a few meters from the home of Johann Gelberg.
His neighbor was watching the ship, which was heading "at full speed" straight for the shore in Bineseti, near the town of Trongheim.

"I was sure he was already outside, but no, there was no sign of life. I rang the doorbell many times - and nothing. It wasn't until I called him on the phone that I was able to reach him," the neighbor said.
Helberg noted that the vessel would have ended up in his bedroom if it had run aground five meters south.

"The doorbell rang at a time of day when I don't like to open. I went to the window and was very surprised to see a large ship. I had to crane my neck to see the top of it. It was so unreal," he said.
The Cypriot-flagged cargo ship NCL Salten, with 16 people on board, was heading for the town of Orkanger but went off course. No one was injured in the incident.
It is not yet known what caused the accident. Norwegian police are investigating.
BBC writes that the ship has already run aground in 2023.
