A Film By A Native Of Baranovichi Made It To The Top Of The Cannes Film Festival

Sergei Loznitsa's picture tells about the right of the individual to rebel against the totalitarian system.

On May 24, the 78th International Film Festival ends in French Cannes, where this year the magnificent Juliette Binoche is presiding.

"Zerkalo" noticed that one of the leaders in the rating of film critics was the film of Ukrainian director Sergey Loznitsa "Two Prosecutors" - right now it shares the first place with the Iranian film "Simple Accident" with a score of 3.1 out of 4 possible points. That means the movie is a contender for the main award.
