Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury had a daughter out of wedlock, writes the newspaper Daily Mail with reference to the author of a new biography of the musician "With Love, Freddie" Lesley-Anne Jones.

According to Leslie, she is now 48 years old, she works as a medical worker in Europe. As the piece notes, the woman was raised "in a loving family" but knew who her real father was.

Mercury had an affair with his friend's wife in the late 1970s. The birth of his daughter was kept secret, and only those closest to him knew about it.
