Serbian tennis player and former world number one Novak Djokovic has won the ATP 250 dirt tournament in Geneva, Switzerland, New Voice reports.
In the final of the competition, Djokovic defeated Poland's Hubert Hurkacz 5:7, 7:6 (2), 7:6 (2).
The tense match lasted more than three hours. In the deciding set Djokovic was trailing 2:4 in games, but managed to come back into the game.
Serb won his 100th career title at the ATP Tour level. He became the third tennis player in Open Era history to cross that mark, joining Roger Federer (103) and Jimmy Connors (109).
Interestingly, Djokovic won his first ATP title at Amersfoort in 2006, when he defeated current Hurkac coach Nicolas Massa in the final.
Jokovic also became the first tennis player in the Open Era to win at least one trophy in 20 different seasons.
Jokovic will next play at Roland Garros, where he will face American Mackenzie McDonald in the first round. The Serb will try to win the 25th Grand Slam tournament of his career.
