Economic blogger and host of the channel @belmarket.by1990 Andrzej Makhovski in an interview to the channel "life-raspberry" commented on the words of officials that "the Belarusian people live well". Makhovsky drew attention to the purchasing power parity.

The blogger notes that earlier propaganda was sharpened to tell how poor people live in Armenia and Moldova, while we live richly.

Makhovski believes that the low labor productivity in Belarus is not because people don't work enough, but because the system is inefficient.
