Warehouses Burned Near Warsaw: Dangerous Smoke Rose Into The Sky

The warehouses contained plastic products.

A heavy fire broke out in warehouses in Kawęczyń, Poland, which is located 30 kilometers from Warsaw. The fire was reported on Saturday, May 24, at 22:00 local time.

The warehouses where plastic products were stored were burning. Toxic smoke was rising into the sky. Local residents were urged to close their windows.

The area of the fire is about 10 thousand square meters. More than 160 firefighters fought the blaze. Warehouses managed to extinguish only in the morning of May 25.

Reminder, in May 2024 in Warsaw burned down shopping center Marywilska. The country's Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the Russians were behind it.
