Netherlands Hands Over 24th F-16 To Ukraine

The Netherlands will send its last - 24th - F-16 fighter jet to Ukraine on Monday, May 26. This was announced by the country's Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans, writes WNL.

"This means that all 24 promised fighter jets will soon be present in Ukraine," the publication quotes him as saying.

Brekelmans said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin demonstrates with his strikes on Ukraine that he has no intention to seriously discuss a ceasefire.

Therefore, the minister said, it is important to continue to increase pressure on Russia and provide Ukraine with as much support as possible.
