Russia Attacked Ukraine Overnight With A Record Number Of Drones

Ukrainian air defense also shot down nine missiles.

Troops of the aggressor country Russia on Monday night, May 26, carried out a combined strike on Ukraine with the use of 364 means of enemy air attack, the AFU Air Force reported.

According to the military, the occupiers fired nine Kh-101 air-launched cruise missiles at Ukraine from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft and a record 355 drones.

The air defense shot down all nine Kh-101 missiles and neutralized 288 Russian Shahed-type UAVs and other types of drones in the east, north, south, west and center of the country.

The AFU Air Force specifies that 233 drones were shot down by firepower and 55 were locally lost/suppressed by REB.

Russian missiles and drones were hit in five locations, as well as downed Shaheds in ten locations, the AFU said.
