Ukrainian intelligence revealed what is going on behind the scenes in the Kremlin.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not receive information about the real situation on the battlefield in the war against Ukraine, also they hide from him what is happening with the Russian economy.

The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (SVRU) Oleg Ivaschenko told this in an interview with "Ukrinform", published on May 26.

According to him, Putin generates all ideas in the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, and the others in his entourage perform these tasks.

"We see that there are things that Putin is afraid to say. We have come to the conclusion that he is not being informed about the actual state of affairs in the economy and the war. The reports are in such a light form, without emphasis on further possible consequences," Ivashchenko said.

Answering about a possible successor to the Russian dictator, the head of SVRU said that in Putin's entourage this topic is forbidden.

"There is fear for their positions, families and close entourage," Ivashchenko explained why this topic is not raised behind the scenes of the Russian government.

As for the protest potential of the Russian population, Oleg Ivashchenko believes that it exists, but it is small - at the level of up to 20%.

"We do not see any preconditions for internal destabilization. There are people dissatisfied in the regions, in the Caucasus, but this dissatisfaction goes to the regional authorities. There is no such thing as someone criticizing the first person," said the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, adding that the entire Russian territory is "regimented" and FSB and Rosgvardia officers are doing their job.
