Girkin: Russia Will Suffer Huge Losses

The ex-head of terrorists "DNR" criticized Putin's idea.

The Kremlin's plans to create a "buffer zone" on Ukrainian territory will expand the front line, which will lead Russia to defeat in the war.

Z-patriot and ex-DPR terrorist leader Igor Strelkov (Girkin) wrote this in his prison letter, "Dialog".

He is convinced that Ukraine will benefit if the Russian army is thrown into creating the "buffer zone" the Kremlin dreams of.

"The front will stretch to the border with Belarus for hundreds of kilometers more... And as a result, all our reserves that can be used to defeat the Ukrainian army will be absorbed by the protection of this 'buffer zone,' if, of course, it can still be taken, which will be very difficult given the fact that the enemy will offer fierce resistance," Strelkov wrote.

He is sure that Ukraine has already prepared defensive lines in the border area in advance, the Russian army will suffer enormous losses in attempts to storm it, and this in conditions of an acute shortage of manpower on the front.

Strelkov emphasized that attempts to attack in Sumy region will only lead to losses, no benefits are foreseen. Strikes on Russian territory will continue, as drones are not launched from the border area.
