The new Alpine A390 has been unveiled in France. The first crossover from the Renault Group's sports brand is richly equipped and gets a powerful electric setup.

Design of the Alpine A390 2026
The Alpine A390 electric car was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the brand, and the presentation was attended by star soccer player Zinedine Zidane and Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly. The stylish sports coupe-crossover will challenge the Porsche Macan and Tesla Model Y, but is slightly more compact and lighter.

The dimensions of the Alpine A390 2026:
length - 4615 mm;

wheelbase - 2708 mm.
The new Alpine A390 retains the styling of the pre-production concept and features an elegant, fastback design with a high window line and curved roofline. It has original headlight optics, hidden rear door handles, aggressive dodger and a small pointed spoiler at the rear. The crossover received forged wheels with a diameter of 20 or 21 inches.

The cabin has sports seats and a beveled steering wheel, on which there are buttons for selecting driving modes. The new Alpine A390 gets a virtual dashboard and a large 12-inch portrait touchscreen. The trunk volume is 532 liters.
The multimedia system is supplemented with Google services and telemetry. The basic equipment includes matrix headlights, cameras, Devialet acoustics with 13 speakers for 850 watts, electric drive and heated seats, heated steering wheel.

The top-of-the-line GTS variant adds leather interior, massaging seats, parking autopilot and a semi-autonomous driving system.
New Alpine A390, specs
The Alpine A390 electric crossover is built on the AmpR Medium platform from the Renault Megane E-Tech and Nissan Ariya. The crossover will be offered in all-wheel drive three-motor versions.

The 400 hp GT base variant is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaching 200 km/h. The GTS version with 470 hp and 808 Nm launches to a hundred in 3.9 s and its top speed is limited at 220 km/h.
All-wheel drive with traction vectoring function, almost equal (49% to 51%) weight distribution on the axles and sport suspension are designed to make handling exciting. Slowing it down are brakes with six-piston calipers at the front.

The 89 kW∙h battery provides a range of up to 555 kilometers. Its 80% fast charge will take up to 25 minutes.
The Renault Alpine A390 crossover will go on sale from the fourth quarter of this year. The price of the electric car will be from 65 to 76 thousand euros.
