The clashes between Pakistani troops and the Taliban came amid the construction of new checkpoints.
Clashes between Pakistani troops and the Taliban have erupted along the Pak-Afghan border in Afghanistan's Helmand province, Al Arabiya reported in X.
The channel noted that this came amid the construction of new checkpoints (checkpoints) on the Pakistani side. Helmand borders Pakistan's Balochistan province.
Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said five members of the "Indian Fitna al-Hindustan group," which Islamabad calls terrorists, were killed in operations in Balochistan on May 28, Geo TV reported.
The four "Indian-sponsored terrorists" were eliminated after an "intense gunfight" in Loralai district, ISPR said, implicating them in two terrorist attacks on the N-70 highway near the village of Rarashama that killed 30 people. Guns, ammunition and explosives were recovered from those killed. Another "terrorist" was eliminated in Kech County.
