Zelensky Intrigued By Statement About German Taurus Missiles

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has hinted that dialog with Germany on Taurus missiles continues - but not at a public level.

He told RTL.

Commenting on the issue of possible deliveries of these long-range cruise missiles, Zelensky said: "We are working in this direction."

The Ukrainian president made it clear that all discussions are confidential and behind the scenes.

"There are certain topics on which Chancellor Merz and I agreed not to discuss them publicly. I promised him this and I am keeping my promise," the head of state said."

Friedrich Merz, for his part, said that he did not rule out the delivery of cruise missiles - "within the limits of what is possible."
