Belarusian Schoolchildren Were Obliged To Wear Certain Clothes

A list of requirements appeared.

The Ministry of Education has introduced amendments to Resolution No. 322 of September 19. Among them are the requirements to the business style of schoolchildren's clothing. The document appeared on the National Legal Internet Portal.

According to the new definition, the business style of clothing is "a strict style of dress, which may include common (identical) elements of the school uniform with the placement of the emblem of the general secondary education institution (jacket, vest, sundress, dress) on one of the elements".

So, for boys the document prescribes the following variants of clothing: jacket, vest, pants, shirt with short and long sleeves, turtleneck, tie. Girls are allowed to wear jackets, vests, skirts, pants, blouses with short and long sleeves, turtlenecks, sundresses and dresses.

- In winter time, a business style set of clothes may include a knitted sweater," the ministry reports.
