Ukrainian soldiers took the Russian Armed Forces by surprise.

Russian pro-war bloggers and Telegram channels monitoring events on the frontline are writing on Monday morning about a new attempted offensive by the AFU in Kursk Region - in the Glushkovsky district, Radio Liberty reported.

The AFU is said to be trying to break through the border near the village of Tetkino, which is located near the border. According to some reports, strikes are also being carried out to the southeast, near the village of Novy Put. As a result of the strikes, a bridge over the Seim River in the village of Zvanoe was destroyed.

According to the telegram channel SHOT, up to 250 Ukrainian servicemen, more than 15 units of heavy equipment, and quad bikes used by infantry are involved in the operation.

Local publics, in turn, note increased activity of Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.

No independent confirmations of new fighting on the border have been made yet. Kiev has not commented on reports of a new offensive in the Kursk region. As a result of the offensive launched last August, the Ukrainian military occupied a number of border territories, including the district center of Suja. After more than six months, the Russian military managed to oust the AFU from almost the entire territory of the region.
