Pension Changes Have Been Introduced For Belarusians

The innovation concerns veterans of combat operations in the territory of other States.

In Belarus, a change has been introduced in the assignment of pensions. The innovation is stipulated by the resolution of the Ministry of Labor, it concerns veterans of combat operations in the territory of other countries.

The changes concern the list of documents for the appointment of certain types of pensions. In particular, it included the certificate of a veteran of combat operations in the territory of other countries.

The change began to work on May 1 this year.

Reminder, from this month also reduced the retirement age by five years for veterans of combat operations, who received the status of a disabled person in peacetime. As predicted in the Ministry of Labor, it will affect more than two thousand people.

Reminder, the standard retirement age in Belarus (not for beneficiaries) is 58 years for women and 63 years for men.

According to the Ministry of Labor, there are 21 thousand veterans of combat operations in other countries in Belarus, 455 of whom are disabled war veterans.
