Pakistan Has Claimed A Missile Strike By India

Islamabad has promised a response.

Pakistan's Defense Ministry has confirmed that India has launched a missile strike on targets inside the country, GeoTV reports.

Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, director general of the ministry's public relations directorate, said the cities of Bahwalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad, the administrative center of the Pakistan-controlled part of Kashmir, were hit.

"All the aircraft of our air force are in the air. <...> Pakistan will respond to this [attack] at a time and place of its own choosing," Chaudhry said.
