Pakistan Claimed To Have Shot Down Two Indian Rafale Fighter Jets

TV channel Samaa claims that the Pakistan Army has shot down two Rafale fighter jets of the Indian Air Force. According to the channel's sources, the warplanes were shot down near Bahawalpur.

The Pakistani side's version is that one of the planes was shot down after "it violated Pakistani airspace."

"Radar systems detected an Indian aircraft making an unprovoked incursion into Pakistani territory. In response, Pakistani forces acted in accordance with standard protocols to intercept and neutralize the threat," Samaa wrote.

The channel published a purported photo of the downed aircraft. Pakistan's Defense Ministry has not officially reported the incident.
