The Radziwill Palace Has Skyrocketed In Price Three Thousand Times

It's being sold under the hammer.

The Radziwill Palace in Dyatlovo was put up for electronic auction on the BUTB-Imuschestvo platform, the press service of the stock exchange reported. The district executive committee offers to buy it for 296 thousand rubles (about 90 thousand dollars) with a pledge of 30 thousand rubles, which must be paid before the auction.

The architectural monument stood empty for six years before it could be sold. First in 2021 the building tried to sell for 145 thousand rubles, in May and August of the next year - for 31 thousand rubles, reducing the original price by 80%. But there were no interested parties.

Only when at the next auction, which took place in November 2022, the price for the whole building was reduced to 3 basic units, or 96 rubles, the only buyer appeared - a Russian businessman, who eventually became the owner of the Radziwill Palace.

His spokeswoman said that there was no talk of commercialization of the object and that the palace would have only a social orientation - perhaps a rehabilitation center or other institution to help people.
