ISW: The AFU Is Fighting For Tetkino In Kursk Region

The Ukrainians entered another settlement.

Ukrainian Defense Forces recently crossed the Ukrainian-Russian border and advanced in the village of Tetkino in Kursk Oblast, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported in a May 7 bulletin.

Geolocation footage shows Russian forces conducting airstrikes on a building in the southern part of Tetkino. This indicates that the Ukrainian military has taken control of positions in the settlement, the report said.

Russian Z-bloggers claim that the Defense Forces control up to two streets in the southern part of the settlement and maintain their positions. Other war correspondents claim that the occupants allegedly dislodged the AFU, but ISW does not confirm this information.

Some occupants also claim that the Defense Forces may have entered the Novy Put locality. ISW writes that it does not record any geolocation footage indicating the Ukrainian military advancing in this village.

The Ukrainian military did not confirm information about an offensive in the Tetkino area of Kursk Region.
