Russia Says Bridges In Kursk And Bryansk Regions Were Undermined

Criminal cases are being investigated under the article on terrorist attack.

A highway bridge in the Bryansk region and a railroad bridge in the Kursk region were allegedly blown up. This was stated by the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

She said that in the Bryansk region, as a result of the explosion of a road bridge, its structures collapsed on a passenger train passing under it.

"In the Kursk region on June 1, 2025 at about 3 a.m., there was also an explosion of a railway bridge, from which a passing train fell on the road. As a result of what happened, the driver and his two assistants were injured," Petrenko said.

Criminal cases are being investigated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on terrorist acts. The investigation is being handled by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
