Zelensky Appealed To The U.S.
Vladimir Zelensky

Washington can force Russia to make peace.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky reacted to the Russian Federation's overnight attack, noting that the Russian strikes are "louder than the attempts of the United States and others in the world to force Russia to peace."

"For the past night instead of ceasefire - massive strikes with Shaheds, cruise missiles and ballistics," the Ukrainian head of state wrote in Telegram.

Zelensky said that on the night of Tuesday, June 10, the aggressor country launched one of the largest strikes on Kiev. The targets of the Russian Federation were also Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernigov regions.

The Ukrainian president specified that the Russians used a total of 315 drones, including 250 Shaheds, and seven missiles in the strike, including two that were North Korean-made ballistics.

He said that houses and city infrastructure were damaged as a result of the enemy shelling. In Odessa, Russians hit a maternity hospital. Thirteen people were wounded in the city, and there are dead, Zelensky noted.

He emphasized that it is important that the response to this and other similar Russian strikes is "not silence of the world, but concrete actions."

"Actions of America, which has the power to force Russia to peace. The actions of Europe, which has no alternative to being strong. The actions of others in the world who have called for diplomacy and an end to war and whom Russia has ignored. We need hard pressure for the sake of peace," the Ukrainian head of state added.
