Trump Appreciated Musk's Words Of Regret Over Publications About Him

The U.S. president called the businessman's apology "very nice."

U.S. President Donald Trump called "very nice" the apology of entrepreneur Ilon Musk, with whom he previously had a quarrel. This opinion was expressed by the head of state in a conversation with The New York Post.

"I think it's very nice of him," Trump said.

The US president did not respond, whether he is willing to put the past behind him what happened between him and the entrepreneur, the newspaper noted.

Musk and Trump had a public spat after the businessman criticized the Republicans' "big beautiful bill" on tax breaks that increases the US budget deficit. Musk, who oversaw government spending cuts in the Trump administration until early June, called the bill a "disgusting abomination." The president said he was disappointed in Musk.
