Lukashenko Issued A Decree On Potatoes

The ruler is convinced that the vegetables are missing from the stores because of a conspiracy.

Trade networks and suppliers were obliged to ensure the availability of vegetables in stores in the off-season. This follows from the decree № 232 "On the peculiarities of supply of fruit and vegetable products for the republican state needs," signed by the ruler on June 11.

The decree, in particular, defines the mechanism of granting loans to retail chains on favorable terms to make an advance payment for 30% of fruit and vegetable products, which are laid under the state order for the needs of networks. Loans can be taken in Belarusian rubles with interest at 3% per annum, reports the press service of Alexander Lukashenko.

In addition, it establishes the obligation of suppliers to ensure the supply of fruit and vegetable products for retail chains. In turn, retail chains must ensure its availability in stores in the off-season. Failure to fulfill these obligations will result in administrative responsibility.

We recall that yesterday, June 10, during a visit to "Belarusfilm," Lukashenko explained the disappearance of potatoes in stores by a conspiracy.
