The crew of the Shadow aerial reconnaissance unit's Shark drone detected a unique target on the front line - a Russian Navodchik-2 drone control complex. Thanks to the prompt transmission of coordinates to friendly forces, the target was struck by fire. As a consequence, not only the complex itself, but also its service personnel were destroyed.

The Navodchik-2 complex is one of the key links in the Russian system of reconnaissance and target designation. It provides control over Garnat-type UAVs used for reconnaissance and fire correction, and transmits the collected data through automated command systems, Censor.NET reports.

Such complexes are statutorily part of artillery divisions - both barrel and rocket artillery. Russia is known to have used the Navodchik-2 even before its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
